One of the most spectabular sights, is The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It is an amazing sight. Abu Dhabi is very traditional, yet very modern. The city hosts the Formula 1 and the Gourmet Abu Dhabi festival. These events attract an abundance of International travelers.

There is a gorgeous Marina which is an easy walk from the business district to catch the breezes coming off the gulf. 

Al Ain is an UNESCO World Heritage site and a short drive from Abu Dhabi and an escape to tranquility.

Get on a camel and make a trek across the desert, or off roading on the sand dunes. 

Saadiyat Island is also a short drive from the city ..view wildlife, bottlenose dolphins and gazelles and the hawksbill sea turtles which lay their eggs on the beach.

Abu Dhabi is not to be missed.
